 Difference between IBA & SPSC vocab section.

SPSC recently announced SS & SST jobs. MO & TO tests are in the pipeline & test will be announced very soon. 

SPSC Vocab section: When It comes to science & maths, you need only 10% cramming & 90% of making concepts clear.

But when it comes to general subjects like Islamiat, GK, English, Vocab & S.S, you need only 10% cramming & 90% of making concepts clear.

if any teacher claims, after attending youtube lectures, you will have be command over english section of sukkur IBA, he is   telling a lie. If a book seller claims to read his/her book in order to get command over IBA sukkur english section of job test, he/she is also false in his claim. If a blogger like me gives you false promises of improving your english, and become master of synonym and antonym section of IBA SUKKUR,   i am too false in my this statement then.

I have experience of 7 Job tests of IBA sukkur (Monitoring assistant (failed), Comp: Science lect: (failed), admission test for M.Phil computer science (failed) Computer Science lect: @ khairpur campus (passed), Junior office associate (Passed 71%), IBA SEF schools test for Science teachers (Passed), IBA JEST 2018 (Passed 70%).

I am sharing you my experience, it may be helpful, but i don't assure you of success.

IBA sukkur synonym and antonym section is  based upon BCQs (Best choice question). It means when we return to our home after attempting IBA SUKKUR test. Type the word given by IBA sukkur. Dictionary will show you all meanings that you found in options of that question. So, It means you have to be careful before making any decision to mark the right option.

Rule1: Mark the right option as per the contextual meaning:

Example 1: After getting anesthesia (sleepy patients) don't feel pain.

Here meaning of sleepy is:

A. Inactive

B. Dormant

C. Drowsy

D. Unconscious

Note: Type word sleepy in dictionary you will find all options given above.

Example 2:

One in seven accidents is caused by sleepy drivers (IBA 11Nov2018, JEST test)

Here meaning of sleepy is:

A. Inactive

B. Dormant

C. Drowsy

D. Unconscious

Answer:

Now the answer of question given in first example is unconscious. Here sleepy gives meaning of unconscious, because after taking drugs of anesthesia, he/she (patient) doesn't know what is happening around him/her.

By the same way in example 2: sleepy will have be meaning of drowsy, because drivers while driving are not completely unconscious, they are half asleep, they will awake after a jerk of sleep.

Conclusion:

So the same word gives the different meaning in different contexts. That is why before marking the right option, you have to be present mind. Just feel and look at the scenario given in paragraph or sentence. And you have to choose correct option as per contextual meaning.

Rule:2: If the word is adverb, try to find out its meaning that should be adverb as well. mark as per the part of speech of word.

Rule: 3: Mark the option in which all other options may fit well. lets suppose:

Abdul Sattar edhi was particularly caring where the old, handicapped people were concerned.

A.careful

B.generous

C.sympathetic

D.kind & helpful

A person who is kind & helpful is generous as well. A person who is kind & helpful is careful also. A person who is kind & helpful is sympathetic too. So, these all meanings fit into the one word 'kind and helpful'. That is correct option.

Rule 4 : If the word in 2nd form of verb, find its meaning that should be in second form of verb as well.

Rule 5: If the word is in comparative degree of adjective find its meaning or antonym that should be  comparative degree of adjective.
