Sindh Education| Teaching licence Policy| EST | Teaching licence primary, Elementary and Secondary.
1.1. Getting a Teaching License in Sindh.
Khaliq Virtual Academy - We offer HST SST Online Mock tests and pdf books.1.1.1. You'll get a Teaching License by passing the test for it.
1.1.2. Those who want to take the Teaching License Test will pay a fee set by STEDA.
1.1.3. There are three types of Teaching Licenses:
- Teaching License (Primary) for people with an Associate Degree in Education (ADE).
- Teaching License (Elementary) for those with a B.Ed.* (4 years/ 2.5 years).
- Teaching License (Secondary) for holders of a B.Ed.** (4 years/ 1.5 years).
1.1.4. For teachers already working:
- To get Teaching License (Primary): You need ADE and 2 years' experience.
- To get Teaching License (Elementary): You need B.Ed.* (4 years / 2.5 years) or similar with 3 years' experience.
- To get Teaching License (Secondary): You need B.Ed.** (4 years/ 1.5 years) or similar with 3 years' experience.
Teaching License:
- Primary: Allows teaching classes 1-5
- Elementary: Allows teaching classes 1-8
- Secondary: Allows teaching classes 6-12
1.1.6. The Teaching License lasts for 5 years. You can renew it for another 5 years by attending at least 5 hours of professional development courses approved by STEDA, and paying a renewal fee to STEDA.
Note: 1-year B.Ed. holders can't get a teaching license.
1.5-year B.Ed. holders aren't eligible for the elementary teaching license test.
